Faith Under Pressure: Standing Firm When the Waves Rise Again

F

The Battle within

In the heat of the battle,
at your darkest hour,
stand tall and raise your flag—
not the flag of surrender,
but the banner of righteousness.

And if you happen to fall,
or the battle turns against you,
do not be discouraged.
Wait for the next dawn.
Rise again—
firmer in faith,
leaning ever more upon Him.

When the waves crash violently,
tossing you from side to side,
and you feel yourself sinking once more—
call out for peace.
“Peace, be still,”
and reach for His hand.

When my faith trembles,
let Your hand be the thing I find first.

And if even then
you seem to lose the fight,
remember—
perhaps your battle was not to win,
but to endure.

For the true test
is standing firm through the storm,
knowing that in all things—
win, lose, or draw—
your faith in Him
will not waver.
